We spent Christmas with both of our families this year, for which we are very grateful. With Nick going into the Navy, we are not sure if we'll get to come to Pendleton like we always do. It is very special to be able to see both of our families on Christmas Day.
The Holidays are so much more exciting with this little guy around...even if it was a constant battle to keep him from ripping open all the gifts under the tree! He still doesn't understand the reason behind it. He just likes to rip things up.
Next year will be so fun when he gets excited to see what his presents are!

I loved watching him play with his toys from Santa.

Isn't this the cutest hat?

Spoiled of course.

We snapped a quick picture before heading to bed on Christmas Eve. It felt strange not to have Ashley, I mean Sister Spratling around ; ). But the boys are ALWAYS fun. They are getting so big, but still get up at the crack of dawn to see what Santa brought!
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary this year! To celebrate we went to Cameo Heights Mansion, where we stayed on our wedding night. You can click on the link and take a tour of our room! It was sooooo much fun, and very romantic of course ; ). We ate every meal in our room and stayed up late hot tubbing and making s'mores. Yes, it was freezing cold, but so fun! We left Danny over night for the first time. It was sad for me, and it was hard not to worry about him constantly, but I was excited to have time with just Nick and to get a full night's sleep!
~Thank you Nick for making this little getaway happen. It made me feel so special, and I loved every minute! I love being married to my best friend!
This is a recent picture of my kitchen. My nativity is still up! I decided to keep it up for January since we were gone almost the whole month of December. It is up high, safe and sound from Danny's busy little hands. My fridge is going to seem so bare without it!
