This cakes was for my ward's Relief Society Birthday Celebration. It's a pineapple orange cake. YUM! This wasn't my original design, but you can't go wrong when you throw some cute little flowers on there. My plan was to make two flavors of mini cakes with fondant ribbons and bows to look like little Birthday presents. Well, that's a lot to take on when your baby has two ear infections that keep him up all night. Poor thing. I ended up making the cakes the day before, and this is what I threw together. It was cute, yummy, and I had more time to snuggle with Danny. This is one of my favorite cakes, so I thought I would share the recipe : )
Orange Pineapple Cake
One yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
One can mandarin oranges with juice
~Bake according to cake mix directions
Frosting:
One container cool whip
One can crushed pine apple
One large packet vanilla pudding mix
