'Tis The Season For Cakes

I've found making cakes is great theorapy while missing Nick, so I made six this month! I NEVER make this many cakes in such a short amount of time. It was a fun and exhausting adventure, and I think I'm ready for a break!

Birthday cake for my niece Naomi
This is probably the most adorable cakes I've EVER made : ).

Frist Birthday cake for my nephew Gage, the sweetest baby on the planet.

Rainbow layers inside of the sunshine cake of course!

Pretend wedding cake for the young women's temple night.

I've always wanted to make cherry blossoms!

The stake youth dance in Pendleton was a harvest theme, and Sam helped me make a barn cake! Sam is quite the baker, and I prefer the decorating part. We might just have to go into business together some day Sam ; ).

Diaper cake for my friend's baby shower. I've been wanting to do one of these for a long time. I loved it.

And just yesterday I finished this wedding cake for a family friend's wedding. the whole thing is real cake, and I didn't have a melt down at midnight while doing the fondant! Nick would be so proud.

Speaking of Nick... he is doing really well, and hopefully I can post about that soon! We sure miss him.
